DESCRIPTION:MEDORA MUSICAL\nFriday\, June 26: We will depart from Sioux Falls Friday morning (other pickup\nlocations to be determined). We will make a stop in Aberdeen for lunch\nbefore going to Jamestown\, ND. Midafternoon\, we will arrive at the Frontier\nVillage. We will have time to walk around and look at the original buildings\nfrom the frontier villages of North Dakota that are filled with antiques and\nartifacts\, creating informative historical displays. Walk through the Northern\nPacific Railroad Depot (1880)\, explore the Frontier School\, Church\, and Bank.\nAnd don’t forget the gift shop\,\nwhere you can find North Dakota\ntreasures and handmade goods\nfrom local artisans. Be sure to stop\nat the General Store for delicious\nhand-dipped ice cream\, refreshing\nkuchen\, and other memorabilia.\nExperience the United States’ national\nmammal up close and personal when we\nvisit the Discovery Center. The North\nAmerican Bison Discovery Center tells\nthe story of the North American bison\nthrough an introductory film\, and\ninteractive and rotating exhibits about the animal’s natural history\, cultural significance\, and ecological impact.\nFollowing hotel check-in\, the group will enjoy dinner together at Buffalo Grill.\n \nAfter lunch\, we are off to Medora!\nUpon arriving in Medora\, we will check into\nRough Riders Hotel and freshen up for a fun-filled evening at the Pitchfork\nFondue. Every evening the chefs load steaks onto pitchforks and fondue\nthem – western style! Savor the steak as we overlook the Badlands from atop\na bluff at the Tjaden Terrace. The Medora Gospel Brunch is a match made in heaven and a wonderful way\nto spend the morning. \nFollowing the gospel show\, there will be time to explore downtown Medora; there\nwill also be the option to visit the Chateau de Mores historic home. The Chateau de\nMores is a 26-rooom\, two-story building that was built in 1883 as the summer\nresidence of the Marquis’s family.
