The\nChart House is one of the most magnificent waterfront restaurants\,\noffering views of both the water\nand the Cincinnati skyline. The\nriverfront restaurant combines a\nbeautiful setting with an upscale\natmosphere\, making it one of\nthe finest restaurants in the\nCincinnati area. Catch stunning\nviews of the Daniel Carter\nBeard Bridge at sunset while\nyou dine! \nFriday\, May 29: Following breakfast\, we will enjoy a 2-hour\nguided tour of Cincinnati. The tour begins in quaint MainStrasse\nVillage where we will learn all about the German heritage of this\narea and hear about the famous folk tales of the Pied Piper and the\nGoose Girl. Nearly 150 exhibits feature animatronic dinosaurs\, talking heroes of the\nfaith\, and professional displays that\nhonor God’s word. The combination of all three will amaze\nand inspire you to think differently about the biblical account of Noah’s Ark.\nEarly evening\, we will depart for Newport\, KY for a German dinner with entertainment\nat the Hofbräuhaus-the first authentic Hofbräuhaus in America which was modeled\nafter the legendary 400+ year old Hofbrauhaus in Munich\, Germany. Enjoy many of\nthe traditions from Germany and live polka music! \n  \nSunday\, May 31:\nThis morning we will enjoy a guided tour of the National Underground\nRailroad Freedom Center. The Freedom Center shares the stories of freedom’s heroes\, from\nthe era of the Underground Railroad to contemporary times\, challenging and inspiring us all.\nIts location recognizes the significant role of Cincinnati in the\nhistory of the Underground\nRailroad\, as thousands of slaves escaped to freedom by crossing the Ohio River from the\nsouthern slave states. Many found refuge in the city\, some staying there temporarily before\nheading north to gain freedom in Canada.\nFollowing the tour\, we will stop at Findlay Market –Ohio’s oldest continuously\noperated public market and one of Cincinnati’s most cherished institutions.\nFindlay Market is home to more than 50 full-time merchants selling meat\, fish\,\npoultry\, produce\, flowers\, cheese\, deli\, ethnic foods and more. We will enjoy\nlunch (on our own) before boarding the bus and departing for Mt. We will have time to walk around and look at the original buildings\nfrom the frontier villages of North Dakota that are filled with antiques and\nartifacts\, creating informative historical displays. Walk through the Northern\nPacific Railroad Depot (1880)\, explore the Frontier School\, Church\, and Bank.\nAnd don’t forget the gift shop\,\nwhere you can find North Dakota\ntreasures and handmade goods\nfrom local artisans. Be sure to stop\nat the General Store for delicious\nhand-dipped ice cream\, refreshing\nkuchen\, and other memorabilia.\nExperience the United States’ national\nmammal up close and personal when we\nvisit the Discovery Center.
