Today is a travel day, anticipating the excitement of the week ahead and enjoying the company of old friends, and meeting new friends. We will stay overnight at Courtyard by Marriott in Lacrosse, WI. We will enjoy an evening meal at the Freighthouse Restaurant.
We will continue our journey east arriving at the Lighthouse Inn at Two River, Wisconsin, where we will have lunch while enjoying a beautiful view of Lake Michigan. Following lunch, we will board the SS Badger Ferry and sail across Lake Michigan. Enjoy a relaxing 4-hour trip between Manitowoc, Wisconsin and Ludington, Michigan. There is plenty to see and do aboard the huge ship including games with an entertainer, free movies and satellite television, shopping in the gift shop, or just strolling or lounging on the spacious outside decks. We will have dinner together and overnight in Ludington, Michigan.
This morning we will enjoy a guided tour into the wilderness lands scape of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Miles of sandy beach, bluffs that tower 450' above Lake Michigan, lush forests, clear inland lakes, unique flora, and fauna make up the natural world of Sleep Bear Dunes. High dunes afford spectacular views across the lake. Following our guided tour, we will travel to Traverse City, the Cherry Capital of the World. With such a large array of shops, dining experiences and attractions, there's never a lack of something exciting to do in Downtown Traverse City. You will receive a $20 gift certificate, that is redeemable at all restaurants and shops, to use for lunch or for shopping! Make sure and stop at Cherry Republic. Cherry Republic celebrates Michigan's Montmorency Tart Cherry through its 200+ cherry-based products including chocolate covered cherries, BBQ sauces, jam, jellies, salsas, nut mixes, ice cream toppings, baked goods, condiments, soda pop, cherry wine, and cherry beer. After exploring Traverse City, we will depart for Mackinaw City. We will enjoy dinner together prior to checking in at the Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront Hotel, Mackinaw City's newest and largest lakefront hotel directly next to the ferry.
We will begin the morning by taking the ferry over to Mackinac Island. We will enjoy a Carriage Tour of Mackinac Island, an experience that is by far the most enjoyable and authentic way to view the island. Prepare for a tour like no other! We will be dropped off at Fort Mackinac to enjoy a self- guided tour. After the tour, there will be lunch at the Grand Hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to explore the island on your own!
The next two nights will be spent at the Lakeview Hotel.
Today is the day to relax and enjoy on your own. You can choose to enjoy a relaxing horse-drawn carriage and visit many historic island sites; walk through town and browse the unique shops or sample world famous Mackinac Island fudge.
We will end the day together on the Sip n Sail Sunset Cruise. Watch as Mother Nature paints vibrant sunset colors across the canvas of the Straits of Mackinac! There is no better view of this awe-inspiring event than from the deck of the Isle Royale Queen III. Sail under the impressive span of the Mackinac Bridge while sipping on your favorite beverage and listening to the sounds of summer.
This morning we will take the ferry from Mackinac Island to St Ignace where we will board our motor coach. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the beautiful scenery as we travel to Wisconsin Dells. If time allows, we will check into the Hilton Garden Inn, prior to attending the Wisconsin Opry! Experience a down home, music filled time on the farm! Enjoy a hayride, lift your heart with a classic live country music show from the Dickinson Family, as well as savor a home cooked meal in their historic barn.
This morning we will take a one hour, half land, half water adventure that features the most scenic parts of Wisconsin Dells aboard the Original Wisconsin Ducks. This adventure features the most scenic parts of Wisconsin Dells including the Wisconsin River, Dell Creek, Lake Delton, and the Dells Scenic Park, exclusively traveled by Original Wisconsin Ducks on trails they've used since 1946!
Following the duck tour, we will depart for downtown Wisconsin Dells. Wisconsin Dells was made famous by its historic downtown business district. Watch as some of the artisans' craft some of the most delectable treats, candies, and fudge. The downtown offers some of the most unique arts and gift galleries that will appeal to all tastes; or you can stroll along the Riverwalk. You can dine on traditional burgers and fries or expand your palate with tastes from around the world. Following lunch (on your own), we will depart for home sharing memories along the way.

We will depart Thursday morning, with pickup locations to be determined. We will stop at Willies' Bar & Grill in St Lawrence and have lunch on our way. After checking into our hotel, the evening will be spent aboard the Lewis and Clark Riverboat. Sit back and relax as we cruise the majestic Missouri River and enjoy a BBQ dinner.
Following a hot breakfast at the hotel, we will continue towards Medora, ND! Upon arriving in Medora, we will depart on a guided tour of Theodore National Park, where we can explore the colorful landscape and glimpses of bison, prairie dogs, deer and more. After our guided tour, we will return to Medora. You will have a couple hours to enjoy lunch (on your own) and to explore downtown Medora before we depart for the Chateau de Mores historic home. The Chateau de Mores is a twenty-six room, two story building that was built in 1883 as the summer residence of the Marquis's family. The Chateau is now a historic house museum and contains many of the original furnishings and personal effects of the de Mores family.
Late afternoon we will check into the Badland Hotel and freshen up for a fun-filled evening at the Pitchfork Fondue. Every evening the chefs load steaks onto pitchforks and fondue them - western style! Savor your steak as you overlook the Badlands from atop a bluff at the Tjaden Terrace. Your steak comes with fresh fruit and vegetables, baked beans, garlic toast, baked potatoes, brownies, cinnamon-sugar donuts, lemonade and coffee. Next is the Medora Musical! The musical is the rootin'-tootinest show in all the west! Performed live and outside, under the Badlands sky. You will be treated to high-energy music, guest variety acts from around the world, live horses and more!
Start your day with a beautiful array of your brunch favorites: endless helpings of egg bakes, breakfast meats and more. Then take in one heck of a gospel show with a full band and gospel singers. The Medora Gospel Brunch is a match made in heaven and a wonderful way to spend the morning. Following the gospel show, we will depart Medora and start our journey towards home. We will drive the Enchanted Highway on our way to the John Lopez Studio Gallery in Lemmon. The Kokomo Inn houses the artwork of sculptor John Lopez, who specializes in sculpture welded art. After a stop at the gallery, we will stay overnight at Prairie Knights Casino in Fort Yates.
Following breakfast, we will depart for Hoven where we will enjoy a tour of the Cathedral on the Prairie, St. Anthony of Padua. This is very possible the most beautiful Cathedral in the state of South Dakota. The twin spires reach 140 feet into the heavens, it is 161 feet long. 65 feet wide and has a 17 rank, 1127 pipe organ. It has thirty-one stained-glass windows of the utmost beauty, resembling cathedrals that are built in Europe! Following the tour of the Cathedral, lunch will be served at the Senior Center in Hoven.

Today we will depart Sioux Falls with additional pickup locations to be determined. We will travel to Custer State Park Resort where we will overnight. Following check-in, we will enjoy a Buffalo Safari Jeep tour providing historical and educational information about the park and wildlife. We will then enjoy a chuckwagon cookout complete with live entertainment.
Following breakfast, we will continue our journey west! We will travel the Wind River Canyon Scenic Byway which begins in the town of Shoshoni and follows US Hwy 20 north through Wind River Canyon and the Wind River Indian Reservation ending just south of Thermopolis. The 2,500-foot-deep canyon is a feast for the eyes with the oldest layers of rock dating back to the Precambrian era, over 2.5 billion years ago. Highlights include Boysen State Park, the "Wedding of the Waters" and the Bighorn River. We will stay overnight at the Hot Springs Hotel in Thermopolis. Dinner will be provided at the hotel. Following dinner, take time to enjoy the walking paths, swinging bridge, cooling ponds or relax in the hotel mineral soaking tub!
Today we will stop at Jackson, WY. Upon entering downtown Jackson, one is immediately attached to Town Square and its many unique shops. We will have time to explore some shops and have lunch (on your own) before departing for West Yellowstone. Midafternoon, we will depart Jackson and enter the Grand Tetons National Park and enjoy some beautiful sites before arriving at our hotel.
Following breakfast, we will depart West Yellowstone with our step-on guide. We will tour the Upper Loop; some of the sites we will enjoy today are Gibbon Falls, Mammoth Hot Springs, Canyon Village, Artist Point View of Yellowstone, and Uncle Tom's Viewpoint. After a full day of touring, we will arrive back in West Yellowstone. The evening will be free for you to enjoy dinner on your own.
This morning, we will visit the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center where we will have an opportunity to observe, understand and ultimately appreciate grizzly bears and gray wolves. The remainder of the morning, you can stroll the streets of West Yellowstone; lunch will be on your own, before we depart with our step-on guide and tour the Lower Loop. We will arrive at Old Faithful; our time will allow us to see two eruptions! While at Old Faithful, plan on eating an early dinner (on your own) before departing for the remainder of our tour. After leaving Old Faithful, we will see Geyser Basin and Fountain Paint Pots before returning to West Yellowstone.
Today we will pack our bags and depart West Yellowstone. We will start our journey towards home but not before driving Beartooth Highway! Beartooth Highway is a sixty-seven-mile stretch of US Hwy 212 with breathtaking views of the Absaroka and Beartooth Mountains, in Wyoming and Montana, climbing to an astounding 10,964 feet above sea level. It's one of the highest roads in Wyoming. We will take our time, stopping at overlooks along the way. After checking into our hotel in Billings, we will enjoy our dinner at the Montana Rib & Chop House.
After departing Billings, we will make a stop at Little Bighorn National Monument. Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument preserves the site for the June 25 & 26, 1876, Battle of the Little Bighorn, near Crow Agency, Montana. It also services as a memorial to those who fought in the battle: George Armstrong Custer's 7th Calvary and a combined Lakota- Northern Cheyenne and Arapaho force. Custer National Cemetery, on the battlefield, is part of the national monument. Continuing east, we will stop briefly at Devil's Tower before overnighting in Deadwood.
Following breakfast we will depart for home -- with many beautiful memories of the wonders of Yellowstone National Park!

All necessary information will be sent to you 2-3 weeks prior to departure. This will include itinerary, your departure time and place, hotel listing, etc.
Unless otherwise noted, our tour package pricing includes round trip transportation, overnight accommodations for the specified number of nights and tickets and entrance fees for scheduled events and/or attractions. Meals are not included unless otherwise noted in the tour highlights and/or inclusions.
The tour price and itinerary is subject to change without notice due to factors beyond the control of Foreman Charters.
Tour participants are preregistered by advance reservation. Upon arrival, room keys will be obtained by tour director or driver and distributed accordingly. Room assignments are made by the hotel in an impartial manner. Each person is allowed one large suitcase (50 lb max). In addition, a small overnight case or tote bag may be brought on board the motor coach and will be your responsibility. Your luggage must have your name attached to it.
All travelers need a current government issued photo ID for all travel.
No smoking, chewing tobacco or open alcoholic beverages are allowed on the motor coach. Frequent stops are made to accommodate those wishing to smoke. Foreman Charters reserves the right to not transport a person or persons if intoxicated, under the influence of drugs or if their conduct is offensive to other travelers. It will be the responsibility of the passenger denied boarding to arrange and pay for their return home.
Tour gratuities and tips are included in the price of the your tour. Gratuities for your tour director and driver are not included. The suggested gratuity for your director and bus driver is $2-$3 a day. These should be related to the service received and is solely at your discretion.
Additional expenses incurred due to circumstances beyond our control, for motor coach or leisure travel will not be the responsibility of Foreman Charters. If a tour is delayed due to extreme weather conditions and additional expenses such as accommodation, meal, phone call, etc. will be your responsibility.
Tours are subject to a passenger minimum. If Foreman Charters cancels a tour due to lack of participation, the liability to Foreman Charters is limited to a refund of money paid.
Foreman Charters is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. Foreman Charters acts only as an agent in arranging reservations for hotels, transportation, sightseeing, restaurants or any service included in each itinerary. Therefore tour passengers agree that Foreman Charters shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, irregularity or expense to a person or property directly or indirectly by acts of God, fire, labor disputes, acts of government, civil disturbances, riots, theft, pilferage or acts of terrorism or due to any default by a hotel, restaurant or other company, vendor or individual providing services for our tours.
